F.A.Q What about physical complaints

Neither S.I. nor S.A. are offered to treat symptoms, but rather to trade in poor postural habits for those that facilitate balance and ease in sitting, standing and moving in everyday activities at home or athletics in the field. S.A. encourages a neuro-muscular relaxation, which is vital for releasing tension and establishing a new attitude. This tension release also brings about :
                        * Lowering of high blood pressure
                        * Relief of migraines
                        * Relief of headaches
                        * Relief of vertigo
                        * Improvement of diabetes
                        * Tiredness
In short, all stress related conditions improve remarkably, although they are not treated as symptoms, i.e., the body heals itself emotionally and physically. However, all treatment in S.I. and S.A. must be tailor made and suited to the individual.
Gabriel Rosenthal believes that the body must be orchestrated and that he acts as a guest conductor, with the client’s consent. Everything is dependent on the client’s consent to let the change happen.
The moment the conductor attempts to take the instrument out of the hands of the player (the client) there is no more orchestra,” he says, “And the true sense of S.I. and S.A. is lost to mechanical manipulation.
